Tails of the Atlantic bluefin tuna line the piers of downtown Portland, Maine. The tails are so much bigger than I imagined, and are reminiscent of the blade of a scythe. These baddies can weigh 3/4 ton and measure up to 10' long!
Process
Hand carved block printed on 80gsm white washi paper with oil-based printmaking ink. Each piece of paper is hand torn with a deckled edge.
