Process
Have you been wanting a custom block print of your home? Look no further!
Commissions are one-of-a-kind artworks. The piece is to be hand-drawn, carved and printed, using a high-quality linoleum block on 80gsm archival quality white washi paper with oil-based navy blue printmaking ink. Paper is hand-torn with a deckled edge, best displayed in a floating frame.
The piece will be editioned, titled and signed by myself, below the artwork, with a minimum border measuring ¼”. Artwork size is to be determined by the proportions of the home. One edition will be printed for myself (the printer’s proof, annotated as “P/P” in the bottom left corner) and one for the owner of the work (annotated as “1/1” in the bottom left corner, noting it as an original print). Once the owner is in possession of the piece, the original block will be destroyed!
After Purchase
Upon purchase, please email me 1 - 3 photos of your home, with at least one being a relatively straight-on shot. Send to mbloom.print@gmail.com, with "Commission Photos" as your subject line.
Your piece will be shipped (or pick up / delivery if you’re in the Philly area!) within 3-4 weeks of receiving your photos!
