Story
My favorite view of the Kenai Mountains and Kachemak Bay from the Homer Spit beach in Alaska.
The Homer Spit is arguably one of the most charming places on earth (in my humble opinion); with beautifully water-weathered shops, beached boats converted to homes, wildlife galore, and friendly locals, the spit can feel like magic. This is one of the places from home I miss the most!
Process
Hand carved linoleum block hand pressed and printed on 80gsm white washi paper with oil-based printmaking ink. Each piece of paper is hand torn with a deckled edge.

"Misfits"
Reduction printing means layers are printed on top of each other; and while this process leads to exciting color combinations and depth, it also means some prints will be a little "off"! All of my pieces are hand printed, meaning inking, registration, and color will always vary. "Misfits" are those that are a little more varied than intended! However, I still think they deserve a place on the wall (:

This essentially goes from "most accurate registration" to "least accurate registration". Please see photos and numbers in bottom left corner for reference! If you have any preference on which print you would like, shoot me a message!
To Note
Due to the nature of hand carving and reduction printing, each piece will vary. This variation includes color and registration, and adds to the character of the final print. Each piece is signed, titled, and editioned in pencil.
