Day two of the "Rowhomes of Philly" series. 

This series was my attempt to draw, carve, and print 31 rowhomes in the month of October. I came upon them during dog walks in Fishtown, running through the streets of Old City, and days spent exploring Queen Village. Each rowhome is celebrated as its own stand-alone piece of Philadelphia architecture. 

Process

Hand carved and block printed on 80gsm white washi paper with blue oil-based printmaking ink. Each piece of paper is hand torn with a deckled edge.

To Note 

Due to the nature of hand carving and printing, each piece is unique and will vary slightly. This variation adds to the character of the print. Each piece is titled and signed in pencil. 

Does not include frame.
